Clore Law Group is pleased to introduce a new member to the team. Susana Fernandez Herrero joins as a paralegal. In this role, she provides legal assistance to the attorneys as well as providing Spanish interpretation and translation services for Hispanic clients.
Susana spent over 10 years at the firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP, in Washington, D.C. and has extensive experience as a paralegal in litigation, labor, environmental, international trade, intellectual property, and telecommunications law. During her time there, she also assisted with translation and interpretation of Spanish language documents and contributed to the pro bono program by assisting Hispanic clients. Prior to that, she worked as an environmental paralegal and translator for Beveridge & Diamond, also located in Washington, D.C.
Fernandez Herrero holds a law degree from the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain, where she also completed a labor law post graduate course. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in human resources from the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain, and a master’s degree in international law (LLM) from the American University Washington College of Law. She is registered as a non practicing attorney with the Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.
